We are sharing with you how we see our role and responsibilities to ensure we are operating a sustainable D'ARK:

1. We are securing a transparent food chain for all our restaurants. Where the ingredients come from, which suppliers and farmers, so that you know what you are enjoying is made of and comes from. We still have a lot to do on this, and you will see major changes in our way to share with you in the next few months. This requires not only D'ARK's teams commitments but also our suppliers';

2. We need to reduce our foot print of emissions: getting rid of plastics is of course of number challenge today across our food & beverage supply chain. We are tackling this one first! And again, if you are already one of our guests, you will definitely feel the change throughout 2021;

3. Last but not least, we believe it is our responsibility to support the communities that support us. We source our specialty coffee through our a unique green bean buying program. Our green bean buying specialist travels to coffee growing regions around the world and works collaboratively with growers to ensure the crops which are selected are grown under ethical and sustainable conditions.

It is all about building sustainable relationships with specialty coffee-growing communities and empowering them to work with us, rather than for us. The program is committed to building skills locally, providing job security and growth opportunities for local workers, upholding fair practices as well as encouraging responsible farming.

By collaborating with the farmer, we have the unique ability to match raw coffee origins to our blend profiles in order to consistently deliver our signature blends all year round.
